the ga-IE locale for Thunderbird 1.5 has owner signoff and is now ready to be released. We want to allow time to smoketest the builds before we release them so I'm filing this bug to keep track of this for the next scheduled stability update, 1.5.0.5.

The work item for this bug is to have QA smoketest the new locale.

Approving for 1.8.0.5 so ga-IE can be released with the next stability update.

The code freeze is schedule for June 21, release for mid-July

rhelmer:  Can you please add ga-IE to the shipped-locales file for Thunderbird and make sure we include it for 1.5.0.5.  Please submit the patch so we can approve it and get this bug off our radar.  Thanks!

oops, it seems like that file is shipped_locales on the 1.8.0 branch and shipped-locales on the 1.8 branch. To go nicely with all-locales, I'd favor '-'.
