To see this, Lauch Netscape 6 in Kanji Terminal and using kinput2, type in a JA keyword to location field and hit Enter key. ==> Nothing happens. The correct behavior is to go thru KW DB first and if nothing found, to be passed on to Search to pass on Search results instead. Clicking location field [Search] directly after typing in a KW works fine. bld tested: Linux 03-22-06-M15 b1.

I assume if you type English, this works? What happens if you copy and paste some kanji?
Yes. This works with EN words. Copying and pasting kanji shows correct behavior (KW DB first and then Search).
What happens if you hit Enter a second time? Maybe kinput2 is swallowing the first Enter, and that may be the correct behavior...
Nothing happens no matter how many times you hit Enter. KW svr URL isn't loaded.
Switching kinput2 off and hitting Enter makes it behave correctly. So, the problem here is for kinput2 swallowing all event of hitting Enter key and not invoking the URL after the first hit on Enter commits the text input.
Changed subject from "JA keyword browsing disabled in Linux bld" to "kinput2 not passing enter key event?" tajima-san, Will you please look into this one?
