The checkmarks do show in Firefox and Safari. I reloaded the page, emptied the cache, etc., with no effect. Reproducible: Always
The images in question have urls like "/images/ad/markedG2.gif" which get caught by the ad-blocker. That's a dumb path for the site to use for something that's key to page display/meaning. You can see the images if you un-check ad-blocking in Web Features and reload the page.
