When I create a group I seem to get duplicate accounts of the email identities that I already have in my address book. If I try deleting one of the accounts they get removed from the usergroup.

It would be handy if you could simply select current accounts to form part of a usergroup as you can within Outlook.

Reproducible: Always

By "accounts" I assume you mean cards? And by "Groups" or "usergroup" you mean mailing lists?

Therefore I think you are saying that the mailing list forces you to have copies of the card within the addressbook. If so then this is a duplicate of bug 85687. As I think I've understood what you are saying, I'll mark it as that now.

If you think I've misunderstood you, please feel free to reopen this bug, but we will need a clearer description (i.e. what are you trying to add where) of your problem.
