RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 3459

People

(Reporter: mozilla, Assigned: mscott)

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4
Build Identifier: 1.5.0.4 (20060516)

If you mis-spell a word in the subject line of an email, the spell checker does not pick it up.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a new email
2. deliberately mis-spell a word in the subject line
3. perform a spell-check
4. spell-check says there are no mis-spelled words

Expected Results:
the spell checker should also be checking and correcting the subject line

As far as I am aware, this issue has existed through every 1.5 version of Thunderbird and possibly goes back even further.
Version: unspecified → 1.5
