I have tried everything I can think of to block these ads to no avail.
adblock iframe, adblock remove map, edit preferences in Tools, Adblock and enter everything I can think of relating to nextag.com. No Joy. Ads still appear.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to http://www.yahoo.com
2.Click any link on the right for news (OLD yahoo home page, not the new one)
3.Ads from nextag.com cannot be blocked out
BLOCKED THE ADS

This is definitely not a Firefox problem, tweak your ad locking software/extension. see http://www.farrokhi.net/blog/adblock.txt for example.

I have done what was suggested a few days ago.
My adblock extension HAS adq.nextag.com as being blocked.
This problem started showing up when FireFox updated itself to 1.5.0.4.
Maybe I should just go back to IE6 and Zone Alarm Pro.
It blocked EVERYTHING.

First there is no ads blocking component in Firefox. There is an image blocking option but no ads blocking.

I'd rather use lynx ..
NOTE: If you need support for adblock, feel free to go to mozillazine forums (http://forums.mozillazine.org/index.php) and ask. Additionnally, you could ask for help on IRC (irc.mozilla.org/firefox)

I have Adblock v.5 d3 * nightly 42
I checked for updates, none found.
I give up. These ads are annoying.
