I see this on today's linux commercial build 2000033109

1. Install and launch the browser
2. Click on the 'What's Related' panel after the default page launches.
3. Observe that the browser freezes and I can no longer click on buttons, menus.
   Have to restart the browser.

I see the same problem when I try to open a file using 'File->Open File'. The
dialog never opens and the browser freezes. Pls reassign to correct component if
wrong..thnx !

good, does anybody see this on windows?

Yeah.. I do see it on today's windows build. Marking OS : all, adding pp.
OS: Linux → All
This is likely a dup of 34061.
After updating nsXULElement.cpp, I no longer see the freeze on Linux (nor
Windows); however, I don't get any related links on Linux. Sunspots? Server-side
problem? Windows seemed to work...
so it no longer freezes the browser, but there is no content in the "what's
related"?

if that's the case, we can probably remove this from the smoketest blockers once
we have confirmation on the respin.
Ugh, now I have to find out why there's no content ...

transmogrify bug
Severity: blocker → major
OS: All → Linux
Summary: Clicking on What's Related panel freezes browser → no content in What's Related panel
rjc: is there any platform-specific foo going on s.t. Linux won't load related
links (but Win32 will)? e.g., user-agent munging to get a URL?
Nope.
this seems to be okay now in 404 build, marking fixed and verified, unless
waterson was seeing something that I am not
