I Have used firefox for quite sometime. I updated the firefox to the new 1.5.0.4. and it worked for a couple weeks then just stopped working at all. I uninstalled then re installed and still no luck. When I uninstalled it did say firefox was open and if I clicked here it would close all firefox running. Before doing my un install I did ck for virus and and cleaned out my computer ran my defrag for regular maint. then I moved on to the uninstall because none of that worked. even when re installing firefox is not opening or working at all.

this obvioulsy is a profile issue. but not a bug.

I have tried everything. I just uninstalled and will now use a diffrent browser. Everything else works fine including my other browsers. I do not understand why Firefox quit working all of a sudden. I cant fix it and you say it is basicaly an issue with my computer settings. If so then its only firefox that is not working on my computer. I can not even get a browser window to open for the program. I am finnished trying to fix it.
