Details

Steps to reproduce: 1. View > Sidebar > History or Bookmarks 2. In the sidebar, Ctrl+Shift+Click on a link. Results: New tabs opens in the foreground. Expected results: New tab opens in the background. Whether the "Select new tabs opened from links" preference is checked does not matter.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1b1) Gecko/20060807 BonEcho/2.0b1 ID:2006080704 Is this still an issue? For me, after making a bookmark of http://www.redi.uklinux.net/sidebars/html40.html and making it load in the sidebar: - left clicking on a link opens in current tab - shift-left clicking on a link opens in a new window - ctrl-left clicking on a link opens in a new tab in the background - ctrl-shift-left clicking on a link opens in a new tab in the foreground
I should have mentioned in comment 1 that "When I open a new tab, switch to it immediately" was unchecked. When it is checked: - ctrl-left clicking on a link opens in a new tab in the foreground - ctrl-shift-left clicking on a link opens in a new tab in the background
Component: History → Bookmarks & History
QA Contact: history → bookmarks
WFM Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1b4pre) Gecko/20090330 Shiretoko/3.5b4pre feel free to reopen if you can reproduce in current branch/trunk.
