Orca user will not know this alert content for the content contained in this alert will not be reported by orca. Steps to reproduce: 1. Invoke orca and firefox. 2. Load a page, say http://www.sun.com/. 3. Press F7 to switch caret browsing on, caret browsing alert window pops up. Actual result: It only reports "Caret Browsing alert panel", the content in this alert will not be reported. Expected result: The content of alert should be reported to user. Additional info: This bug can be reproduced on vermillion_42/snv_41 with firefox trunk 20060527 nightly build.
You can block the pops up in your tools on the top of firefox tabs (Tools) then its in (Options°.
No. This bug describes the firefox accessibility issue. Orca is an screen reader which is designed to report the frame content to blind users. This bug makes the alert frame is not "visible" to blind users. This alert frame should not be blocked for it tells user what they are doing(to switch caret browsing mode on).
f7 twice crash firefox

Nian, does the crash still occur? If so that's a bug which needs fixing.
