The text can be browsed in caret browsing mode, but they can not be reported by screen reader.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start orca and firefox.
2. Load the page http://www.sun.com/.
3. Press F7 to switch caret browsing mode on.
4. Move caret to the last line "Copyright 1994-2006 Sun Microsystems, Inc.".
5. Press Left/Right arrow and Ctrl+Left/Right Arrow to read the character/word one by one.

Actual result:
Nothing will be reported to user.

Expected result:
The character and word should be reported.

Additional info:
This bug can be found on vermillion_42/snv_41 with firefox trunk 20060527 nightly build.
OS: SunOS → Opensolaris
