Interesting enough, I was playing with form submission on the new version of
Mozilla (gecko based) and I went to cnnfn.com and was able to search, get stock
quotes and all. (mainly submitted by hitting 'enter' as opposed to clicking the
submit button.)
now, I go to hotmail.com, put in my username and password, and click submit. A
pop up box asked if I wanted to save this password, (yes, no, never for this
site) and no matter which option I choose, it appears that the form never gets
submitted. The page just sits there and from what I can tell, no outside
connection to hotmail is made.

Reporter, which build were you using?
Hotmail login requires SSL encrypted connections. Do you have PSM installed?
