The troubleshooting page says: "We recommend using Internet Explorer 6.0 for browsing our site for best results." I'm not a member, but the free areas of the site seem to work fine in Firefox 1.5.0.4.. I'm getting tired of (otherwise good) websites recommending IE, as I feel this is one of the major stumbling blocks for converting new users...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://www.lauraingraham.com/pg/jsp/help/general/troubleshooting.jsp
2. Under "Trouble Logging In?" you should the sentence, "We recommend using Internet Explorer 6.0 for browsing our site for best results."
Actual Results:  
Recommends IE, even though Firefox (and I'm guessing most other browsers) works fine with it.

Expected Results:  
Recommends Firefox, or gives the latest version numbers of ALL the popular browsers (Firefox, IE, Opera, Netscape Browser).

The Tech Evangelism team has extremely limited resources. While we're more than willing to spend time and effort on evangelising sites that are actively broken in Gecko browsers, I don't think it's a good use of our limited resources to tell a site what browsers they should "recommend", especially if the site is currently working fine.

You're more than welcome to do that yourself, however, and I'm more than willing to provide whatever unofficial support I can for such an effort, but as a TE bug, this is a WONTFIX.

Sorry, but TE has more important things to worry about, like the six thousand or so sites that are actually *broken* and have open TE bugs filed against them. Maybe once we get all those FIXED we can start worrying about what functional sites recommend.
