User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4 Build Identifier: TB version 1.5.0.4 (20060530) In Preferences > Advanced > Update I have checked "Automatically check for updates to Thunderbird". But it did not work in TB 1.5.0.1 (to tell me 0.2 has arrived) and it did not work in TB 1.5.0.2 (to tell me 0.4 has arrived). Using manually the Help menu and there "Check for Update..." the new TB was immediately found. This bug is not only Mac related, I heard it often from Windows users too. The same function in Firefox works perfectly. Reproducible: Always
