From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.14 i686; en-US; m14) BuildID: 2000033111 In Mozilla's password dialog box, the cursor starts off blinking in the 'password' field, giving the impression that you can type in it. However, if you do type, nothing happens. You have to click inside the password field first. When you click in it, nothing changes, but then you are able to type the password. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to a page where you have to log in with a username and password, like Slashdot or even Bugzilla itself. 2. Log in, and say "yes" when asked whether to save the username and password. 3. Mozilla will prompt you for your master password (either to come up with one, or type in what it is, depending whether you already have one) in a dialog box. 4. Try to type your password. Actual Results: The password field isn't active to accept your keystrokes, even though the cursor is blinking in it. You have to click in it before you can type. Expected Results: The password field should be active from the start.

Not single signon. Changing component to xpapps and reassigning. I thought this bug was already filed but I couldn't find it. However it's similar to bug 25459 and bug 30221.

I'm not surprised you recognise the bug morse, it duplicates my bug 31092 which was then marked by you as duplicating bug 27784 :). recommend this be marked as duplicating 27784
