Did you try the workaround in bug 320839 comment 3?
Does this happen with a new profile? Can you figure out which file in your profile is causing this problem, and attach that file if it doesn't contain sensitive personal information? Btw, the reporter of bug 320839 was probably also using OS X 10.4.x. There was a recent change to bugzilla.mozilla.org that caused all bugs with the OS set to "OS X" change to have the OS set to "OS X 10.2" :(

Not sure what a "profile" is in this case. An OS X profile? A Firefox profile? Meanwhie, using Find to make the scroll arrows appear isn't such a difficult thing to do until this bug is fixed. ------- Comment #2 from jruderman@gmail.com 2006-06-13 05:12 PDT ------- Does this happen with a new profile? Firefox profile, usually in ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox.
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager has instructions for creating a new profile. Having a copy of the file that causes this to happen for you would help us fix the bug. Otherwise fixing it would be a matter of trying to guess what's wrong :/
Reporter, do you still see this problem with the latest Firefox 2? If not, can you please close this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks!

No reply, not confirmed, Firefox 1.5 → resolving WORKSFORME. Feel free to reopen, if it still happens with the latest Firefox 2 or 3 builds. Thanks.
