when the "go to" icon is removed from the toolbar and re-installed when customizing the toolbar, it no longer functions. the search does work however if you put a search term in and hit "enter" on your keyboard.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.drag and drop "go to" icon from toolbar to "customize toolbar" screen
2.drag and drop "go to" icon from "customize toolbar" screen to toolbar
3.

Actual Results:
the "go to" button no longer functions when depressed

Expected Results:
the expected results are that the search term query would be displayed by the search engine selected (however it isn't - nothing happens)
Not sure I follow this. The Go button submits the contents of the address bar, not the search bar. And it works fine after removing then adding to the toolbar.
My best guess here is that this is an issue with the search go button extension and not a Firefox problem. Jim please reopen if you are not using an extension like this and clarify your bug report.
