341558 - Download Manager not working. Neither Saving of Files & Images by right-clicking. Re-installing doesn't help.

From a few days back, there has been this problem that the Download Manager isn't showing anything when a file is being saved on to disk. Saving files and images by right-clicking ends up in no downloading. The Default Location that is shown when the Download Manager is open isn't being shown and clicking on that part, doesn't open a common dialog that used to show up when there was an icon of the folder where the files were getting saved when it was working. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click on a download link
2.Open download manager
3.No file

Actual Results:  
The file didn't get downloaded

Expected Results:  
The file should have been downloaded

It occurs due to a malformed Downloads.RDF file. Renaming/Deleting the file and restarting the browser solves the problem.
