Whenever I run the checksetup.pl, the following error occurs:
"Can't connect to the database.
Error: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)
Is your database installed and up and running?
Do you have the correct username and password selected in localconfig?"
Why does this error occur. I am als unable to use bugzilla.
It so happened that I reinstalled MySQL server and after that even bugzilla stopped working. whenever i try to open up bugzilla page with a web browser (Http://Localhost) the same error occurs.
Please help me out in troubleshooting the above mentioned problem.
Thanking you,
Raidang

After installation of MySQL server, it asked for server configuration like port number etc. Can this be the reason behind the error.
Provide me with the steps in troubleshooting this. What are the things that need to be done in troubleshooting this?
