User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4 When I set the options all the preferences save except the save password option. Eveytime I close the browser the box comes unchecked. Also when I go to properties to uncheck the read only box and close the window it becomes checked again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.open the browser and check the save password box and press ok 2.close the browser then reopen it and the save password box is unchecked everytime 3.Right click the Firefox folder and open properties and uncheck read only box, hit apply and then ok. Close window then right click the Firefox folder properties and the read only box is checked again Actual Results: the settings will always go back to before you change them Expected Results: it should keep the options i save and the boxes should checked and unchecked
Maybe a user.js with the line user_pref("signon.rememberSignons", true); might help? http://kb.mozillazine.org/User.js_file If it doesn't work for you, try creating a new profile: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Folder For all your end-user support questions see the mozillazine forums: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=38
