Visit the URL, enter some junk, try to start the live chat, get sent to a page saying you don't meet the minimum requirements.  Tested with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060516 SeaMonkey/1.0.2

Do you still get the error if you spoof as firefox or do they just not support any gecko browser?

It actually gives the error with Firefox.  Removing dependecy.

I just get a blank page as SeaMonkey, or spoofing FF.   No error msg. in either case.


Got an e-mail from TWC today promoting their shiny new site.  As it turns out, the entire site seems to have bad browser detection.   The navigation drop downs don't work as SeaMonkey, but work spoofing FF.  I don't know if it would be best to morph this bug or file a new one...

Minimum Requirements Not Met


The Minimum requirements to use the Technical Chat services are:

    * Windows 98 or higher, with Internet Explorer 5.5+ or Netscape 6.0+
    * Macintosh OS 10 or higher, with IE 5.0+, Netscape 6.0+ or Safari 1.0+


Spoofing Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20011022 Netscape6/6.2 also fails the same way (your browser is not running Windows
or OS/X!)  Why should they care?
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.21) Gecko/20090303 SeaMonkey/1.1.15 not Netscape6/6.2 didn't work either...   
Guess I'm not going to get this to work in SM by hook or crook.

Went into it with Safari and got prompted with a (Get JRE plugin) button. 
I clicked it and was instantly (no download delay) presented with a blue
screen with the text:

Welcome: Richard_
Problem: 

in the upper left.   I could not modify the text or key anything new
in and nobody showed up to chat.  Rather brOken...
