It's not possible to delete lists in the addressbook
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a list in the addressbook,
2. add a few addresses,
3. then try to delete the list.
Result: List disappears.
4. Press close and leave the addressbook.
5. Reopen it afterwards.
Result: List is back again

This bug is reproducable on Thunderbird 1.02 (Debian/sarge) and 1.5 (from Backports.org)

What actions/buttons are you using to delete the list? Are you doing this within the address book window or from the contacts sidebar?
This works fine for me when I select the list and select delete - it doesn't reappear. Also, have you tried restarting thunderbird completely?
Do you have any extensions installed?
I have some extensions installed, but 2 of our users have none installed.
We used the context menu in the normal addressbook view (not sidebar).
Hmmm, now that is strange. When I delete the list and close TB, then it's gone.
(Sorry, I thought that I've tried this too)
So the bug is not that critical, just annoying ;-)
Confirmed here, fresh install on newly purchased pc (and of course fresh profile).

Reporters, could you please test with the latest supported 2.0.0.x / trunk nightlies and see if the issue still occurs?
