A colon followed by some ja chars (with no space between them) fails to show up as it is covered under the ja chars.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
To see this,
Go to some Web site such as http://video.google.com/ or http://www.google.com/, and type in some ja text (hiragana, katakana, kanji) after a colon (this is used for label search in Google Video).

Actual Results:
Typing some char like "label:なに?" won't show the colon properly as it's hidden/covered behind the ja chars. Putting a space before the ja chars will reveal it. This may be confusing for many users. See the attached screenshot.
