Description

We should stub these functions out in case they are not available.

(aygshell.dll)
SHSipPreference
SHCreateMenuBar
SHRecognizeGesture
SHFullScreen

(CellCore.dll)
ConnMgrReleaseConnection
ConnMgrEstablishConnectionSync

Not sure exactly how to do this correctly (for example, how do we create a connection without cellcore? do we just fall back on whatever win32 does?)

After some research I found the following.

SHFullScreen, SHSipPreference, SHCreateMenuBar, SHRecognizeGesture -> Supported on WinCE core but aygshell must be included in the CE image created with platform builder. AygShell is an optional component. However, these commands do not really appear to me to have as much utility on Windows CE core as they do with windows mobile or smartphone. Can't find an aygshell.dll but my sample app using these functions statically linked with aygshell.lib to gain these functions.

MSDN Full Screen docs for Windows CE 5.0. http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/wceshellui5/html/wce50lrfSHFullScreen.asp

ConnMgrReleaseConnection and ConnMgrEstablishConnectionSync are present at least in some header files but a sample app I put together would not link because the required DLL was not present. This may be because I did not have the correct component built into my CE image but even if it was present, these functions don't provide the same utility on Windows CE 5.0 core as network connections are managed on Windows CE 5.0 core in Network and Dial up connections, somewhat like the way XP is. Connections set up there are already connected unless they are a dial up connection and dial up connections I believe can be setup to auto-dial. The following link lists equivalent functions for RAS dial up on windows CE 5.0 but I am not for sure this is necessary. If RAS functions are to be supported there should be a place for the user to select what dial up connection to use and save that as the default so that minimo could "Auto Connect" for them.
