User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4
When downloading a file using Firefox, if the target directory is flagged as Encrypted using the Windows EFS system, the files that are saved from the download do not properly inherit this state.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a new folder
2.Right-click on it, select properties
3.Click on Advanced
4.Check 'Encrypt Contents to Secure Data'
5.Click OK
6.Click OK
7.Open Firefox
8.Download a file from any site into this new folder
9.Browse to the folder
10.Right Click on the downloaded file, select properties
11.Click on Advanced and verify that 'Encrypt Contents...' is not checked
Actual Results:
The File was saved to the directory in an un-encrypted state
Expected Results:
The File should be saved in an encrypted state.
This could potentially prevent uptake of the Firefox browser into organizations that are security concious enough to be using the encryption option in the windows file system.
