Pretty print should be a way to subscribe to rss feeds not only to preview them (bookmarks the feed URL)
There may be 2 cases
1)at times the user only goes through the headings (or there are no excerpts say like the feed from www.comicalert.com)
2)users wants to read full excerpts for the rss articles say news summaries, blog posts etc.
Live bookmarks caters to 1) whereas pretty print caters to 2)
Therefore subscription options should
1) add pretty print to the list (then the top yellow subscription options bar is shown only for feeds not subscribed to i.e not in bookmarks)
2) be feed-specific i.e. Fx is not always set to use one reader
(maybe they can be changed through the bookmarks properties dialog for feed links after subscription)
Reproducible: Always

The current feed preview was very intentionally designed to be a feed preview only, and not a feed reader, to avoid some of the resulting design conflicts that wound up getting Feedview backed out of 1.5. You're certainly welcome to ask for a feed reader as an enhancement, it just won't be in 2.0 by repurposing the preview page.
Summary: Pretty print for subscribing to rss feeds (like live bookmarks) → Add a complete feed reader

Firefox is not a feed reader (aside from Live Bookmarks).
This is the perfect place for extensions to add in.
