The automated security update installed and caused all bookmarks to be removed and you cant add any bookmarks or a new folder. This is a total disaster and I no longer trust firefox! All my bookmarks are gone and it will take days to replace them from last months backup forward. The new folder button does not appear until you attempt to be active in the window, Ugh

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to any web page and try to book mark it

Actual Results:  
none, no book mark is added and no previous bookmarks from the prior version before the automated update appear

Expected Results:  
that all the old bookmarks and folders would be retained and new ones could be added as well as folders

obvious, add a bookmark to previous ones, add a new folder on request

This machine is pretty standard configuation of Window XP Pro with all the latest updates installed as of this writing.
