The problem only appeared once I updated to 1.5.0.4. With any Theme, if I choose Customize > Customize Toolbar > Use Small Icons (the tickbox) and "Done", the current toolbar does indeed show small icons, however any new windows (even if I completely exit and restard Firefox) revert to large icons.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.View > Toolbals > Customize > Customize Toolbar > Use Small Icons (the tickbox) and "Done"
2.Exit Firefox or File > New Window.


Actual Results:  
Icons still large in Navigation Toolbar (I reproduced it using two different Themes (Default and Orbit Grey Custom).

Expected Results:  
Small icons in Navigation Toolbar.

Again, after I upgraded to Firefox 1.5.0.4 the whole Toolbar functionality (and the "Engine" functionality for that matter) became really buggy.

WFM. When you open the file localstore.rdf in your profile you should see this line:

<RDF:Description RDF:about="chrome://browser/content/browser.xul#nav-bar"
                   iconsize="small" />
  <RDF:Description RDF:about="chrome://browser/content/browser.xul#toolbar-menubar"
                   iconsize="small" />

I still see this bug with Firefox 2.0 on Windows XP.  The navigation icons always revert back to large when I open a new window or restart Firefox.  However, I do see the correct behavior using Firefox 2.0 for Mac.

Please follow http://kb.mozillazine.org/Toolbar_customizations_reset_on_startup and report back as to whether this solves the problem.
