Last night i left my intel mac on to download an update for Toast Titainum.  This morning when i selected it from the dock Thunderbird was empty no stored message folders nothing and it asked me to do the whole mail set-up again.  


Reproducible: Didn't try




Just to let you know the same thing happened on my win-xp pc with a java update in conjunction with the mozilla suite the profile mysteriously went and the .slt file was lost too

Because this has happened to me 2 times in 2 months i can't afford to take anymore risks and will need to use the mac mail instead

Reporter, does the issue still occur in the latest supported 2.0.0.x / trunk nightlies?

(1.5.0.x is now end-of-life and the latest supported 2.0.0.x is 2.0.0.16)
