Ok. I have some very strange things happening to my machine. I develop websites & up until recently had no problems testing them in firefox....my default browser. Now, however, when I am in Visual Studio or Dreamweaver or right-clicking an html file in My Computer....a strange thing happens.....
If firefox is not open, it opens firefox and the page appropriately. BUT! If firefox is already open....then it opens another firefox window BUT DOESN'T OPEN THE HTML FILE!
This makes no sense to me and I have spent several days trying figure it out with absolutely no luck. THanks!
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Firefox.
2.Double-click (or right-click) file on local hard drive.
Actual Results:
Firefox opens new window with default home page, not the file I am trying to open.
Expected Results:
It used to open the file in a new tab in the current window, which I what I would like to happen again.

I had a problem that seemed related: Are your local file links using "C|" rather than "C:" in the URL, i.e. file:///c|/yahmail.htm rather than file:///c:/yahmail.htm ? Just a thought. Changing my local file links to the colon made them work with Firefox....
