Setting the preference to open links in a new tab in the most recent window does not work. Links continue to open in a new window. This bug only affects the Mac version. I've tested the Windows XP version, and links open in new tabs as expected.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on any link that normally opens a new window (such as links with target="_blank" attribute)

Actual Results:
A new window opens and the page loads.

Expected Results:
A new tab opens in the most recent window and the page loads.

This bug is reproducible with ANY link that would normally open a new window. It happens ONLY in the Mac version of Firefox; the Windows version works correctly.

Not that I can tell.

Reporter, do you still see this problem with the latest Firefox 2? If not, can you please close this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks!
