Description

User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; de; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; de; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5

When using "print" it will only show and print 3 pages, but there are more pages to be printed. The very rest will not be printed.

Reproducible: Always
On print preview you also only see 3 pages or do you see all pages in that case?

Both Print and Print Preview works for me in Firefox 1.5.0.4 and 2.0b1 and
SeaMonkey trunk, all on Linux.

I have been experiencing this bug for a few days. Every email i print produces 3 pages no matter how short or long - either wasting paper or omitting information.
The problem occurs whether I use Printable View or not. If I don't use Printable View the Print Preview matches actual printout. If I do use Printable View the Print Preview is OK but the actual printout doesn't match. Always header only on page 1 (Date/From/Subject/To/CC), text of email on page 2, running off the page if too long for one page, and page 3 blank except for the header & footer. This is a real pain and if I need printout I am forced to go to Internet Explorer, which is fine. I downloaded the 1.5.0.6 update yesterday in the hope that this my solve the problem, but no luck. I'm going to try deleting Firefox entirely and reloading. We have three networked computers here and two networked printers, plus pdf - its the same in all combinations.

I am having the exact same problem as stated above. Is there a fix yet?

ACTUALLY, NO IT HASN'T - if email is only one page it's now OK, but if email is longer is still does 3 pages as before, missing quite a bit of the text. So back to internet explorer unfortunately.

I am getting this 3-page problem on newly installed firefox 2.0 at http://www.hardcoreware.net/reviews/review-347-1.htm
the third page has only 1 line. once it hit another paragraph-separating graphic, it stopped printing. there should be many more pages in this printout. print preview even runs off the page boundary for this article. print preview sure does funny things with the page. and on every web page of the article, print preview is cut short to 3 pages...
I also have thunderbird 1.5.0.7 installed.

Until there's a fix best use Internet Explorer to print off emails - some short one's seem to print OK in Mozilla but longer ones will always print just three pages - pages 1 & 3 mostly blank, with all of the text of the email on page 2, but bleeding off the bottom of the page if it needs more space to fit everything in. It never adds an extra page if it doesn't fit, so you miss out a whole lot of stuff.

I'm using Mozilla 1.5.0.7 - I upgraded but it totally screwed up my network connections, which I couln't fix, so I had to go back to the old version, which is OK - EXCEPT for the printing!!!

Same problem, or only printing 1st page at http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa730869(VS.80,printer).aspx. It works printing with IE7. I'm using FF -> Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.12) Gecko/20080201 Firefox/2.0.0.12.
