Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060608 Ubuntu/dapper-security Firefox/1.5.0.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060608 Ubuntu/dapper-security Firefox/1.5.0.4
While Password Manager stores mail account passwords without a problem (nice not to have to press okay for each account when loading!) it doesn't store RSS account passwords (for those RSS accounts that require authentication), thereby presenting the user with a pop-up box for each RSS account (even though you only have to click okay it's VERY annoying if you have a lot of them!).
Reproducible: Always

I think you're wrong , for me (and it seems for you too, reading what you put) it *is* remembering the password. It's just the password box comes up and you have to click 'ok' for each feed, despite the fact it has remembered the password. odd :)

The userid and password for authentication are stored, indeed.
I can confirm that the prompt is repeated, nevertheless. You'll have to confirm id & pw for each refresh or update of the feed. I can imagine that would be quite annoying when you have many feeds of that kind.
Example: RSS feed of my blog 'kladblad' at blogger.com (for test purposes only)

Can you amend the Summary in light of the comments, please? (That would give a better search result.)

This also happens on the 1.5.0.5 build for Windows. Very frustrating.
