There are different bookmark icons in the 'Imported IE Favorites' folder vs 
the default bookmarks.

Imported IE Favorites gets the "globe" icon, while the default folder has the 
new white&blue icon
this has always been the case. The IE bookmarks get the globe to make them visually distinct whereas the Netscape bookmarks 
get their own icons -which happen to be new now.
