Thanks for filing a bug, but I'm resolving this bug as worksforme, as it doesn't contain the location of the invalid file. I just tried downloading from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ and got redirected, aborted the download, and then looked into my download manager to find the location from where the download took place.
Originally I downloaded from  http://mozilla.osuosl.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/1.5.0.4/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%201.5.0.4.exe
and that was working, the download I just did for test and aborted after 100kb was from http://ftp-mozilla.netscape.com/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/1.5.0.4/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%201.5.0.4.exe

Please reopen the bug if you find the location where you have been downloading from.

In the meantime, just retry to download, maybe with a better result.
