User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4 edge of the browser and the first tab (like 3-5 pixels). If you close that tab, the tabs shift left like you would expect, but they shift too far. Not the first tab is right up against the left edge of the browser. That 3-5 pixel space now disappears. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have tab bar shown 2. Load up multiple tabs 3. Make sure you are in the first tab and close it Actual Results: Tabs shift too far left. There is now no space between the first tab and the left edge of the browser. Expected Results: Tabs should shift left, but should maintain the original space between tab and the left edge of the browser.
There have been significant changes to tabbed browsing since 1.5. Can you test this with Bon Echo beta 2 and see if the bug still exists?
Seems to have been resolved in the tab changes for 2.0. I just tested it (as suggested) with beta 1 of Firefox 2.0 and was unable to reproduce the bug.
Version: unspecified → 1.5.0.x Branch
This is WORKSFORME, then. We're only taking stability and security fixes on the 1.5.0.* branch now, so this will never get fixed.
