345870 - "Delete mail marked as junk in folder" displays the junk message in the preview pane

When there is one message marked as Junk in a folder and I select "Delete mail marked as junk in folder", the message is deleted but its content is displayed in the preview pane. Moreover, that content cannot be cleared from the preview pane until another message is selected. Same issue as reported as comment #4 in bug 250437.

This seems to happen ONLY when there is exactly ONE message in the Junk or Trash folder, and that message is marked as a Junk message. (E.g., if there are two Junk messages in the folder, or one Junk and one non-Junk message, it will not happen.)

I've seen this on an almost daily basis with TB 1.5 and thought it was IMAP-specific, but I tried with the 2.0a1 zip build before filing this bug and I see that it happens with messages stored in Local Folders as well.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select the Junk (or Trash) folder when it contains only one message and that message is marked as Junk. Do not select the message itself.
2. Select "Delete mail marked as junk in folder".

Actual Results:  
The message is deleted but its content is displayed in the preview pane.

Expected Results:  
The message should be deleted, with nothing shown in the preview pane.
