I am the developer of the website that exhibits this problem (http://demo.readysetauction.com). It is admittedly strange and can take a while to reproduce, but eventually, Camino will stop repainting the window when I click to a new link within the site.

Some info I have so far determined:

1. I cannot deduce a pattern that causes this problem to reproduce. But, once it starts, the only way to clear the problem is to quit and restart Camino.

2. No errors occur server-side. (The server reports status 200 as expected).

3. The problem can be reproduced with this app running on multiple different servers.

4. Sometime, clicking "Reload" will refresh and repaint the page.

5. Clearing the cache seems to solve the problem for a single subsequent page load. But then, the problem persists as other links are followed.

6. Here's an interesting tidbit. After a repaint failure (the window still displays the previous page), I select "View Page Source" from the View menu. This shows the source for the new page (the one that SHOULD have been displayed). Then, clicking back to the main tab displays the correct page, as if it had ben there all along! No additional reload or fetch from the server occurs, leading me to believe... this is either a cache issue or a repainting issue of some sort.

7. I have no idea why I have only ever experienced this problem with this particular web site. But clearly there is some connection.


Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Here are the circumstances which seem to most commonly reprouce the problem:

1. Have multiple windows open, each with several tabs loaded with different sites.
2. Visit and click around several sites in these windows/tabs. Make sure cache gets some action.
3. Visit the site http://demo.readysetauction.com. Click around the various links and see if the page window fails to update.
4. If the problem does not occur, go back to Step 2.

Actual Results:  
Eventually, clicking a link on the website will cause Camino to fetch the new page, but not display it in the window.

Expected Results:  
The new page should be displayed.

Sam, does resizing the window make the proper page display after you get in the "shows old page" state?  This might be what we reported as bug 350331...

I have not tried that. I will attempt to reproduce the bug, resize the window, and report back on my findings.
