Seeing using version 2 alpha 1 (20060724) on the Intel Mac. STR: 1. Add a new tag. 2. Delete the tag. The tag is not removed from the UI list, and as a result there are spaces in the list of tags. This happens whether you delete a new tag or an existing tag.

I see this on the Windows build as well.
OS: Mac OS X 10.4 → All

get rid of the prefs immediately instead of just clearing them.
