Details

The first run experience for these locales is not great in that an English language page is presented.

Korean and Japanese locales have approached the problem by skipping the "you've been updated page" and linking directly either to the default home page for that locale or special "Firefox Central" pages. e.g. http://www.mozilla-japan.org/products/firefox/updated, http://www.mozilla-japan.org/products/firefox/central, http://ko-kr.start.mozilla.com/firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official

Options include:
1) Request for localization of the http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/updated page into zh-CN and zh-TW.

or

2) Change links to point to the already localized home page
I just noticed that an older version of the zh-CN yahoo cjk build, 1.5, will display the page http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/central/
Axel, can you assign this to our localizers in China?

These pages are already translated :
http://zh-tw.www.mozilla.com/zh-TW/firefox/2.0.0.1/whatsnew/
http://zh-cn.www.mozilla.com/zh-CN/firefox/2.0.0.1/whatsnew/

AFAIK, all Firefox 2.0.x versions use the new in-product pages, do you mean that we should have these pages for the 1.5.x branch as well?
Sorry, it's an old bug that I was trying to clear out. I hadn't realized that this was completed now.
