Firefox will freeze several times while I use it. I am running Windows XP Media Center Edition with service pack 2. I cannot do anything. Sometimes I will have to restart the browser, or use Internet Explorer to get things done. This happens on any website, even the Mozilla website. It could last for a few seconds to the most a minute. It is very annoying and I have problems getting things done. I really enjoy Firefox and love the features, but this problem is really testing my patients. It can happen up to 3 to 4 times in a row, within seconds or could run smooth for 10 min. When it happens, the Firefox logo in the title bar on top goes away and a white box with a blue line acroos the top appears. When it is able to be used again, the Firefox logo comes back.

Reproducible: Always
Does this also happen in firefox's safemode?

Reporter, if you can reproduce this problem in firefox 2 and can test in safemode, please reopen this bug. Thanks.
