I have an extension, VideoDownloader1.0, which can neither be disabled nor uninstalled. THe menu is entirely grayed out at all times. It keeps crashing my AIOS. I have another extension VideoDownloader, which is version 1.0, but it is not labelled as such - that extension works fine. How do I get rid of VideoDownloader1.0?

Reproducible: Sometimes
Try uninstalling it in safe mode. AIOS modifies the extension manager and in the past has been known to cause problems with it and it may be causing problems now.

I tried uninstalling in safe mode, but all options are still greyed-out. Thanks for the help - do I have any other options?(In reply to comment #1)

What menu is greyed out when in safe mode? What does it state in the extension description below the extension name when in safe mode and when not in safe mode?
In my extension manager there is no description below the title. With a right click of the extension, several functions come up: Options, Visit homepage, About...,Uninstall, Find update and Disable. Unlike all of my other extensions, for VideoDownloader they are all grayed out and cannot be clicked. The underlined key shortcuts do not work either.
This was caused by an incomplete download and you can fix this by deleting the extensions.rdf file that is located in your profile directory... it will automatically be regenerated.

I'm sorry, you have been very helpful, but I found my extensions.rdf file, deleted it, and I still cannot uninstall or disable the VideoDownloader1.0 (It regenerated with all of the other extensions). I have no other problem doing this with my 30 or so other extensions.
Can you zip up your profile's extensions directory along with the extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, and extensions.ini files that are located inside your profile's directory and email the zip file to me?
