After using IE and Firefox for about a year, I have gotten used to being able to click backspace and it goes back one pae into history, in seamonkey, it does the same thing as Page Up. This should be an option in prefrences, or default behavior in a newer release.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to http://www.mozilla.org
2.In the same tab, go to http://www.spreadfirefox.com
3.Press Backspace

Actual Results:  
Goes up part of the page, as Page Up does.

Expected Results:  
Go back one page in history.

There is an option in about:config, look for the pref called "browser.backspace_action"

0 = goes back
1 = act like pgup
2 (and other values) = nothing

On Linux 1 is the default. Not sure why.

because that's the behaviour of (almost) all other linux apps...

Right, I almost thought so - couldn't help wonder, though.
