User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.5 Firefox 1.5.0.5 problem. Using all-in-one sidebar add-on. Download of files works ok, but progress of download can not be seen in download window. I tried this several times with Win2000 and WinXP. Usually it fails, but not always. Also, tried this with Firefox 1.5.0.6 (candidate), it behaves the same way. Firefox 1.5.0.4 did not have this problem, I reinstalled it a couple of times to make sure. I have not checked for this problem without the all-in-one side bar installed. Reproducible: Sometimes
I have now tried removing the all-in-one sidebar add-on. This fixed the problem. Apparently something in this add-on works differently with Firefox version 1.5.0.5 and 1.5.0.6 (candidate). I will send this info to the author of the all-in-one sidebar. I do not know if Firefox code should be changed to fix this or if all-in-one sidebar add-on should be changed.
Same for me. Used to work with 1.5.0.4 and before. Disabling the AiOS plugin fixed it. As the plugin hasn't changed, something in Firefox must have been changed.
Seems to be fixed in the current preview of AiOS 0.7 RC 4

The very first download you do after installing AiOS 6.4 or .7RC4 will show download bytes progress normally. The second download and every download there after will not display download progress. That may be a good clue and it is repeatable. Just uninstall Aios and reinstall it to see the same thing happen again.
