1. I move the mousepointer in window A above an image with title attribute set.
2. I hold the mousepointer over the image until title displays.
3. Then I left click the image to trigger the javascript function call which uses the code below:

largeImageWindow = window.open('large.php?id='+id,'mywindow','width=400,height=200,toolbar=no,location=no,directories=no,status=0,menubar=no,scrollbars=no,copyhistory=no,resizable=yes');

Then the new window B opens above window A.
Then when I start to move the mouse over window B the title from the image in window A displays in window B.

I belive this is not what should happen.

Happens every time in Firefox.
Have not managed to reproduce in IE or Opera.

This is annoying and the enduser does not understand where the TITLE text comes from.

Hi developers.

The above bug was reported a looong time ago.

This is very annoying for endusers.

Example:
Date field in a form with a calendar button with title next to the date field.
User click the calendar button and a popup window opens above the calendar button.
Then when user start moving mousepointer above calendar window the title from calendar button in parent window shows above the calendar in the popup window.

The Title may then hide some of the days to be selected in the calendar popup window.
Title shows for about 6 to 7 seconds.

So could anyone care to fix this, please :-)

Firefox... the best browser out there !!!!

URL?
I think this is fixed in forthcoming FF3. Can you test trunk build to verify?

Hi there.

Just installed the latest official beta (Firefox 3 Beta 5), and can confirm that the bug is gone. Well done dev-team :-)

Can also say that that beta was wicked fast.
I have some forms in a web-app using 7 or more FCKeditors in same page.
In my current installation of Firefox (2.0.0.13) it took approx 7 seconds to load that page in Firefox..... and approx 4 seconds in IE.
In this new beta... no more than 3 seconds .... VERY NICE!

This version 3 will really kick some browser-butt (IE, OPERA, SAFARI wake up)

:)
