I regularly get asked how many add-ons are currently in the queue in #addons and #amo, and while it's great that the dev cp is so much faster now so I can access the info in seconds, I don't see why this information shouldn't be open to developers anyway. This isn't quite Bug 295625, it's just to get the number available to developers, rather than the whole thing.
Attached patch PatchSplinter Review
This began as just wanting to remove the if user = admin or editor around the number of add-ons in the approval queue, but grew into a patch to make the whole thing valid html heh. Obviously I haven't tested it, so please do tell if it's not valid and I'll adjust the patch.

Comment on attachment 232566 [details] [diff] [review] Patch The patch gets rid of the link for admins, but there is still the nav bar. If someone complains, it'll be easy to put in an if() statement to put it back. Anyway, this is in CVS. Thanks Cameron. :)

Yeah that was intentional. I figured it wasn't really worth it having 2 links right next to each other which did the same thing. If anyone complains (they wanted it to be "just their way") then we can always put it back I suppose. Or they could make themselves a greasemonkey script.
