Mouse drag and drop behaves as "copy" whether or not the "ctl" key is down. With the "ctl" key down the appropriate "+" symbol is shown and when it is up it is not shown. Yet the function performed is always a "copy". In order to "move" you must first copy then delete the original(s). This should behave according to the Windows standard.

Behaves as "copy", even with "ctl" key not depressed.

Expected Results:  
Original should be removed in the process.
This has been fixed for thunderbird 2.0 by bug 35837 -> duplicate
