Hi,
I'm using thunderbird 1.5.0.1 and i have an random issue concerning the display of the total messages on the inbox summary (left window). Sometimes it match with the real count of receive and no-read messages, sometimes no. It show a false value, increase with no reason after request the pop server, even when there is no new mail. The data folder is on a share folder on a server.
I tried to regenerate the popstate.dat and others index files(.msf) by deleting them, it fix the problem for a few hours, but not permanently.
Reproducible: Sometimes

Reporter, does the issue still occur in the latest supported 2.0.0.x / Shredder trunk nightlies?
(1.5.0.x is now end-of-life and the latest supported 2.0.0.x is 2.0.0.17)
