From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.61 [en] (X11; U; Linux 2.2.12-20smp i686) BuildID: 2000040508 Browser either crashes (M14) or stops updating the content frame when encountering a website containing <IFRAME> elements. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch Mozilla (bringing up http://www.mozilla.org) 2. Go to http://www.m-w.com or http://www.411-loans.com 3. Select "Back" 4. Select "Forward" Actual Results: With M14, Mozilla crashes. With build 2000040508, the URL switches in the URL box, but the page remains the same. Expected Results: Mozilla should have handled the "Back" and "Forward" properly. Both websites contain and <IFRAME> in the HTML.
Linux build from tree 2000-04-06 I'm not seeing this, works fine. Reporter can you confirm again, perhaps with latest build?
Tried mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu.tar.gz build 2000040616 with switching between http://www.mozilla.org and http://www.m-w.com. Still had instances where the content frame stayed on 2nd URL although location displayed in url-box changed. Sometimes the forward/back buttons would work. No apparent pattern.
This may be related to bug 28142 (not sure, haven't investigated).
Confirmed with linux i686 2000042113 build. Consistant segfault following the exact directions of the original reporter. Tested multiple times.
