[rfe] add a 'remove from recent' context menu item for folders in the folder pane

I've been spending a lot of time in the recent folder view, and when a folder gets in there that I don't want, I'd like to be able to remove it (until it becomes recent again) with a right click.

we already have a "Favorite Folder" menu item.

could we add a "Remove from Recent" or something that would only appear when in the Recent folder view?

(is this feature creep?)

I selfishly don't think so. I'd like to see a "pinned folder" myself, i.e. a folder that does not go away.

Some tweaking could make it more useful. In my list I've seen "trash listed" often, and Drafts never seems to leave - neither are needed. And it only shows first level folders - I don't see any subfolders except on the main context menu of "move to xxx again".

there is always a workaround with Additional Folders View, having split folderpane so that one on top has always some fav, while scrolling other.

Another workaround is to just open another window and just have 2 folder panes..

as for comment 1, that's very much in bug 432395, fav sticky folders ..
